Trafficking Survivors Overcome Fears
What an honor it was to do surf lessons with the girls from Hope Refuge this past month. You could say it was a bit of a shock to hear that most of the group had never even been IN the ocean, yet alone gone surfing. A couple of our favorite quotes of the day were, “I feel like I’m famous because I’ve only seen this done on TV” and “this experience has helped me move on from my past.” It’s our hope that these experiences will be a reminder that all things are possible. Keep it up ladies!
